Comments:

The mouse monoclonal antibody 82D6A3 is an IgG2aκ raised against human von Willebrand factor (vWF). It binds with high affinity to the VWF A3-domain and inhibits VWF binding to collagen types I, III and IV, but has no effect on vWF binding to collagen VI. Interestingly, its antithrombotic effect is not associated with significantly increased bleeding times, even at high doses.
