The core data of the MimoDB database are mimotope sets and related information such as sequences, structures, targets, templates and libraries. Peptides are grouped into a mimotope set if they are from the same independent experiment. In the current release, 11,312 peptides grouped into 1,295 sets are collected from 610 published papers. Among the 11312 peptides in MimoDB, 10,252 peptides appear only in one mimotope set; however, there are 437 peptides appearing in two or more mimotope sets for 1,060 times in total.

Target:

There are 832 different targets in the current version of MimoDB. Besides 79 target with undetermined sources and 37 targets with no sources (such as cellulose, polystyrene, microplate, etc.), most of the targets are from Homo sapiens (Human) and Mus musculus (Mouse). The source of some targets are a hybrid of two ore more species.

Template:

For most of the peptides in the MimoDB database, their templates are not or even can not be determined. Thus, there are only 273 templates identified.
