The training dataset contained 326 blood-brain barrier penetrating peptides as positive samples and 326 non-blood-brain barrier penetrating peptides as negative samples. The independant testing dataset was composed of 105 blood-brain barrier penetrating peptides and 105 non-blood-brain barrier penetrating peptides, which were completely independent of the training dataset of the three predictor models(BBPpredict, BBPpred and BBPpred).
