BBPpredict

Blood-brain barrier penetrating peptides (BBPs) are a type of peptides which can cross the BBB. As the BBB transfer capacity of BBPs, they are of great potential to be developed into drugs or carriers for the treatment of brain diseases. Computational models for identifying blood-brain barrier penetrating peptides can accelerate the discovery of these novel drug candidates. This study proposes the random forest (RF) based computational model for effectively predicting peptides penetrating to blood-brain barrier, called BBPpredict. As a freely available web service for discovering blood-brain barrier penetrating peptides, you are welcome to use BBPpredict in your work.
