Introduction.
The aim of the AACDB database is to provide a comprehensive collection of experimentally measured structure data for antibody-antigen complexes deposited in the Protein Data Bank (PDB).
The AACDB (Antibody-Antigen Complex Database) was developed by Jian Huang's research group at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. The database comprises entries obtained from the PDB database, excluding predictive structures.
The antibody and antigen information underwent thorough manual verification by cross-referencing with the original literature. Notably, AACDB provides detailed information on interacting residues using two methods (ΔSASA and distance), facilitating the identification of paratopes and epitopes.
In summary, AACDB offers a user-friendly interface for convenient querying, manipulation, browsing, and visualization of comprehensive information about antibody-antigen complexes. It also offers customized datasets to cater to specific research requirements.
