| Description: | The phage library was subjected to three consecutive rounds of affinity selection. A group of 'nuisance' peptides of the consensus sequence WHWWXW was identified, whose binding specificity has not been fully elucidated, but which have been isolated in a number of biopanning experiments, including those that do not utilize streptavidin. The amino acid composition and the presence of the WHXW motif suggest that the phage was also a plastic binder. |
