Peptide Source: | Human immunodeficiency virus -1 gp41 : 33929200 |
Source Description: | We engineered the mimetic of the gp41 HR1 helical trimer, designated N3G, on the basis of the N37 sequence and the use of combined strategies, including isoleucine substitution at the a–d sites in the second heptad, intrahelical salt-bridge introduction i |

Inhibition Value Type: | IC50 |
Inhibitory Effect: | 0.25 ± 0.11 |
Inhibitory Unit: | µM |
Target Domain Name: | |
Assay: | Pseudotyped virus infection inhibition assay |
Assay Description: | Briefly, the serially diluted tested peptides were added to a 96-well plate and incubated with MERS pseudovirus for 30 min at 37 °C. Then, the pseudovirus/peptide mixture was added to the Huh-7 cells. Cultures were re-fed with fresh medium 12 h postinfection and incubated for an additional 48 h at 37 °C. Fluorescence was determined using a luciferase kit (Promega) and an Ultra 384 luminometer (Tecan). |
